How
does the Paradigm Pipe work?
Paradigm Pipe works by preheating the fuel while applying a vortex. A vortex is a
complex scientific phenomenon so let’s keep it simple: If you have ever
experienced the acceleration of going on one of those roller coaster corkscrews
you will have some idea what is happening to the fuel. It gets pretty excited
too – right down to the molecular level. By the time it reaches the engine the
heated fuel is in a state that naturally produces better combustion than without
an Paradigm Pipe. The result is a faster, cleaner and more complete burn – which
translates to more power on less fuel and cleaner emissions.
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe fit my vehicle?
Your engine will need to have at least 100mm of straight section on the top
radiator hose to fit a standard Eco Tube. If you have less than that we can
make up a custom unit to fit (price on application).
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe harm my engine?
No – there’s no moving parts to harm anything. But it will aid in cleaning it
of carbon build up over time because fuel is burning cleaner and more
efficiently.
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe affect engine temperatures?
No – coolant flow remains adequate and the improved efficiency helps keep engine
temps cooler.
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe cause vapour lock?
No. Only engines with a carburettor are subject to this anyway but coolant
temperatures are not hot enough. The increased speed of the fuel molecules will
reduce the chances of vapour lock.
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe in my vehicle affect my insurance?
No. Vero have approved cover and the others will logically follow suit as there
is no rational reason for cover to be denied. The vehicle will run cleaner and
more efficiently with no moving parts added and no maintenance issues. As long
as it is installed properly there are no safety issues involved any different
from a standard vehicle which also needs fittings to hold in coolant and fuel
pressure. If you do experience any issues as this is a new technology on the
market place please contact us immediately.
How much saving will I make on
my fuel usage after installing a
Paradigm
Pipe?
Current data is seeing gains from 5% to 48% with the average saving at 20%. You
can see detailed data results page on this website. We cannot predict the exact
percentage you will save as the same car can give different results based upon
type of driving and many variables. However we can guarantee there will be a
saving of fuel costs with the Paradigm Pipe installed.
What
if I do not know my radiator hose size?
When completing your order form you supply details of you vehicles Make, Model
and Year, from this information the Paradigm Pipe team can determine your radiator
hose size. If you would like to confirm yourself then drop into a workshop and
have a mechanic tell you. To measure yourself – take the top radiator hose and
measure the outside diameter across (see diagram below – distance from A to B =
C). Now measure the thickness of the hose wall at one end (distance from A-D or
E-B). Double it (Thickness from A to D x 2 = F. Subtract the thickness from
the outside diameter. Result: C LESS F = G which is the inside diameter of the
hose at the end. Normally 35mm, 38mm, or 50mm.
What
if my radiator hose is a different size?
We can custom make units. Custom units can get superior results as they are
tailor made for your vehicle but will cost more please contact us and we can
confirm a quote for you.
Will
the
Paradigm
Pipe feed enough fuel?
If your car is very powerful (makes over 180kw/240hp) please tell us – the
standard fuel line we use will easily support that. Beyond that - we need to
make sure our fuel line will match yours. Few cars under 3800cc will exceed
180kw unless turbocharged. We have a custom unit to supply a race engine over
1000hp – so can accommodate almost any application.
How do
I fit it the
Paradigm
Pipe?
Take it with your vehicle to an approved installer or a MTA approved workshop.
Fittings and clamps are included. Full instructions come with each Eco Tube™
Can I
fit the
Paradigm
Pipe myself?
No. You must go to an approved installer or a qualified mechanic as we will not
be liable for what you do and your Warranty and Guarantee will be invalid. There
are many factors that need to be considered to ensure correct installation such
as high fuel pressures must be sealed safely etc.
What
if my mechanic does not want to fit the
Paradigm
Pipe for me?
If your mechanic will not fit it as he has questions please pass on our contact
information and we will be happy to discuss with him the installation
requirements. (full instructions are supplied as well). Otherwise we suggest you
locate a qualified mechanic who is willing to install and help save your fuel
costs.
